Strikes, Spares and Team Spirit: MKP Enjoy a Night of Bowling 🎳
At Milton Keynes Pressings, we know that a strong team is about more than what happens on the shop floor. Taking time away from the day-to-day gives colleagues the chance to relax, have fun and build relationships in a more informal setting.
Recently, some of the MKP team swapped manufacturing for bowling shoes and headed out for a fun-filled evening of strikes, spares and, inevitably, a few gutter balls!
A chance to switch off
The evening was a great opportunity for colleagues to step away from their usual roles and enjoy some friendly competition.
There were some genuinely impressive scores, alongside a few that we’ll politely choose not to mention! 😂 Whether experienced bowlers or complete beginners, everyone got involved and the competitive spirit soon came out.
More importantly, it was a chance to enjoy plenty of laughs and spend time together away from the workplace.
Team spirit beyond the workplace
With colleagues working across different areas of the business, team events like this are a great way to strengthen relationships and encourage connections across the wider MKP team.
Teamwork and collaboration are essential to everything we do, and evenings like this provide a great opportunity to build on those relationships in a relaxed environment.
There may not have been any laser cutting, pressings or welding involved, but there was certainly plenty of teamwork, determination and a healthy dose of competition!

All in all, it was a brilliant evening filled with fun, laughter and great team spirit.
