Pressings & Stampings

Parts can be produced in high volume where progression tooling is utilised or smaller volume where single operation tooling is more applicable. With the Company’s own tool shop and Ryeland Toolmakers as part of the Group, immediate support is available for maintenance and tool-making expertise.

Equipment & Capacity

  • Over 30 Power presses ranging from 30 tonne to 500 tonne capacity.
  • Bed sizes from small (e.g., 600 mm × 400 mm) through to large formats (e.g., 2.5 m × 1.5 m) for large panel parts.
  • Varied-size mechanical C-frame and straight-sided presses, and smaller hydraulic presses.
  • Progressive die stamping, deep drawing, coining, embossing and forming operations.
  • Materials processed: Mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper.
  • Secondary operations: blanking/cropping, bending/flanging, laser trimming, post-press welding/assembly, surface finish (plating, powder coating, anodising).

  • Blanking & Cropping: Efficient strip/coil feed blanking optimised for minimal waste.
  • Deep Drawing/Forming: Complex 3D shapes produced with consistent wall thickness and high repeatability.
  • Progressive Die Stamping: Multi-station tools for high-volume, low per-part cost production.
  • Assembly Integration: Pressed components are often welded, riveted, assembled and tested in-house for full module supply.
