World Mental Health Day 2025
Milton Keynes Pressings Reflects on World Mental Health Day 2025
This week, Milton Keynes Pressings (MKP) joined organisations across the world in recognising World Mental Health Day, taking time to reflect on the importance of mental wellbeing and the shared responsibility to support one another at work.
This year’s global theme — “Access to Services: Mental Health in Emergencies and Catastrophes” — highlights the need for accessible, stigma-free support for everyone, in every workplace and every community. At MKP, the day offers an opportunity to pause and reaffirm the company’s commitment to openness, empathy, and care across all levels of the business.
Reflecting on Wellbeing
MKP continues to view mental health as an essential part of overall wellbeing. The company recognises that life’s challenges — inside and outside of work — can affect focus, safety, and relationships, and that creating an environment where people feel heard and supported is key to sustaining a healthy, productive team.
“World Mental Health Day encourages all of us to stop and reflect,” said Lee Deller, Operations Director. “It’s a reminder that every person’s wellbeing matters, and that we all have a role to play in supporting each other.”
A Culture of Care
Mental health awareness has become an important part of MKP’s culture. The business continues to build on the foundations of empathy, respect, and inclusion — recognising that good communication and understanding are just as vital to safety as any process or piece of equipment.
“Our people are at the heart of what we do,” said Neal Read, Managing Director. “When they feel valued, safe, and supported, we all thrive together. Taking time to reflect on mental health helps ensure we never lose sight of that.”
Looking Ahead
As MKP reflects on World Mental Health Day, it reinforces its belief that mental wellbeing should be part of everyday conversation, not just an annual observance. The company remains committed to promoting a positive, supportive environment where everyone can bring their best selves to work.
“Talking about mental health isn’t a sign of weakness — it’s a sign of strength,” added Read. “We’ll continue to make sure that message is heard across every part of our business.”
