CNC Milling Setter/Operator

Job Description:

This is an excellent opportunity for a someone with experience in a toolmaking environment.

We are looking for a CNC Programmer/Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, setting up and programming CNC machines, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience with CNC machines, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to grow their career in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow safety protocols when operating CNC machines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Set up and adjust CNC machines according to instructions.
  • Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines.
  • Troubleshoot CNC machine issues.
  • Monitor the progress of CNC machines and make necessary adjustments.
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.

Job Type: Full-time (Pay: £30k-£38k per year)

Ability to commute/relocate:

Milton Keynes MK2 3JJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

  • CNC Milling: 1 year (required)
