Stephen Moyle BA FCCA

Finance Director

 

  •  

    Steve is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants with a degree in Business Studies.

     

    After training and qualifying with Audi Volkswagen, Steve moved to the media sector to become Finance Director for a publishing and printing division of Johnston Press plc.

     

    Steve has experience in a variety of business sectors and has worked at director level in various sectors, including automotive, media, legal services and engineering sectors.

     

    Steve joined MKP Limited in 2014, and is part of the senior management team. Steve has responsibility for  providing the MKP Group financial advice and guidance. He controls all  financial & management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow maximisation and manages relationships with Group bankers, auditors and legal advisors.

     

Lee Deller

Michael Read MSc

Group Managing Director / Owner

    Mike has a Master of Science degree, acquired in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Systems.

     

    He commenced his career as an apprentice toolmaker in Uxbridge, Middlesex. In 1974 he moved to the Milton Keynes area and founded Ryeland Toolmakers Ltd, renting a small unit in Stony Stratford.

     

    Ryeland expanded and moved into component manufacture in the early 80’s. As the production side of the business expanded, Milton Keynes Pressings Ltd was incorporated in 1985.

     

    In 2006 Mike bought the assets of Maine Office Limited and moved the manufacturing facility from Kings Langley to Milton Keynes.

     

    Mike enjoys most sports and plays golf in his spare time.

    Lee has been with Milton Keynes Pressings Ltd since 1994 and has well over 30 years’ experience in the Manufacturing Industry. Lee's focus and speciality is Press-Work and Welding, which also incorporates Robotic Programming.

     

    Currently Operations Director, with responsibility for all processes within the organisation, working with and supporting all the various Manufacturing Managers to ensure customer satisfaction is the main focus, all this whilst achieving the best performance from employees. He involves himself in all aspects of the organisation and you may often find Lee engaged in purchasing and logistics, ensuring punctual and accurate deliveries, but he also keeps a keen eye on the quality of components and the safety and well-being of our employees.

     

    Outside of work, Lee enjoys building electronic and mechanical projects, and also enjoys several hobbies including the production and development of specialist craft-beer.

Phil Brown

Head of Sales

    Phil brings far more to MKP Ltd than 28 years of experience in business development & Sales. Procurement & logistics are also key aspects of his role as Head of Sales. He brings vitality, professionalism and warmth, along with a mindset of service and advocacy to his everyday work & relationships with  customers.

     

    January 2018 saw Phil appointed as Vice President of the CBM (Confederation of British Metalforming).

     

    Phil’s primary focus is to build awareness of MKP's Group unique capabilities among prospective customers. Plus, develop & maintain current and past relationships with customers.

     

    Prior to joining MKP,  Phil worked at a senior level within Bombardier Transportation in the Rail Sector and Magna Seating in the automotive sector.

     

    Phil has studied for the Institute of Purchase and Supply, along with Business Studies.

     

    In addition to his love of Sport, Phil enjoys spending quality time with his family and getting out in the fresh air walking his dogs.

Jan Webber MSc

Neal Read

Senior Projects Manager

    Jan is an apprentice served engineer with 40 years of engineering expertise.

     

    After training and qualifying in the Aerospace industry, Jan moved forwards to Sheet metal and machining of prototype parts, F1, Metal Clamping / Steel wheel production and then into metal stampings

     

    Jan has experience in a variety of engineering disciplines, which over time has progressed into 30 years  of Quality Assurance.

     

    Jan joined Milton Keynes Pressings in 1988, and is part of the senior management team, responsible for providing Quality and engineering advice and guidance to the Group. He controls the quality function, developing & introducing systems and procedures to ensure the continued production of products to exact customer specifications, reporting the results to the MKP group.

    Neal is our Senior Project Manager and has a long association with the company going back 25 years; his first position was as a 12 year old sweeping and cleaning the tool-room on a Saturday morning.

     

    After university where he studied  business, Neal joined our Project Management department & leads a very strong and experienced team, responsible for the  introduction of new products, from the initial enquiry through to full production. This is a varied role that entails a wide range of disciplines within Sales, Quality & Engineering.

     

    Outside work, Neal enjoys keeping fit, playing football & spending time with his wife & daughter.
